The Daily(ish) Decodable program uses a standard format to work through one sound per day. There are simple instructions for you, the parent or caregiver, and any words in big bold letters are meant for your child to read out loud.
If you want to review any prior lessons, those are all freely available here.
Today we're working on words like “sure” or “pressure.” Start here if your child needs a refresher on words that end in “-ure."

Are You Sure?
One day in a town so bright, there was a little fox with fur so light. His name was Jude, and he liked to explore.
One sunny day, Jude went to the store, to buy some cheese, or perhaps more. The shopkeeper said, "This cheese is the best!" Max looked up and asked, "Are you sure?" with a jest.
By the river, Jude found a small stone, A frog jumped up and said, "That's my throne!" Max looked at the frog, then at the rock, And asked, "Are you sure? It's not just a block?"
As the sun set, Max went home with the questions he knew. He said to his mom, "Will you love me forever more?" She hugged him tight and said, "I am sure."
-------------------------------
Explain It
Now have your child answer a couple questions about the story:
In the story, what did Jude buy at the store?
In your own words, what did Jude do today?
