The Daily(ish) Decodable program uses a standard format to work through one sound per day. There are simple instructions for you, the parent or caregiver, and any words in big bold letters are meant for your child to read out loud.
Today we're going to work on words with "air" in them, like "chair" and "fair."
You can review all of the prior lessons here.

The Little Things Fair
The Alasitas Festival starts today in South America.
It's a fair that lasts for an entire month.
Men and women make small little crafts to sell at the market.
Other people buy the little crafts at the fair to bring them good luck.
Each little craft is intended as a symbol. For example, there are little cars and houses. A man would get a little dollar bill if they wanted to make more money.
Animals have symbols too. For example, a person who buys an owl is asking for wisdom. A rooster or chicken means love.
-------------------------------
Explain It
Now have your child answer a couple questions about the story:
What was today's story about?
If you went to this fair, what would you buy, and why?
