Today we’re working on the sound at the end of the words “key” and “money."

Rhyme It Parents, read the following words out loud. Then ask your child which one does NOT rhyme with the others?

Let’s Play Hockey!

When it gets very, very cold in the valley, the lake freezes over.

When it’s good and solid, my best mate Mickey and I can play hockey.

I slip on my skates.

We get sticks and pucks and drag nets onto the rink.

We take turns passing and shooting. The key is to trap the puck with soft hands.

We skate until it gets late. After we put all the stuff away, we get drinks: Hot chocolate for me! ------------------------------- Explain It
