Daily(ish) Decodable: The "-ar" sound

Today we’re going to work on more "-ar" words like “car” or “star." Start here if your child wants or need more practice.

 

Note also that today's "Read It" section is part I of a nursery rhyme. We'll come back and do part II tomorrow.

Now on to today's lesson...

Rhyme It Parents, read the following words out loud. Then ask your child which one does NOT rhyme with the others?

K was a king, who had all the land

L was a lady, she had a soft hand

M was a medic, who was a good doc

N was a nanny, who watches the clock
